Isolator for Mouse Cages (Bell-Isolation-Systems)The use of an isolator for mouse cages, as shown in the accompanying picture on the left (Bell-Isolation-Systems), allows receiving animals independently of their health status of the sending Animal Faciliy for their cryopreservation, avoiding to access the CNB Animal Facility through quaranteen and without interfering with the health status of animals kept at the CNB Animal Facility. The use of isolators allows the universalization of EMMA services to all interested researchers in the country.

At the EMMA node of CNB-CSIC, in Madrid, we have bought an isolator unit funded by a grant for buying equipments issued by CIBERER.
