EMMA Requisites

The requisited for archiving, storage, requesting and distributing cryopreserved mouse lines within the EMMA projet are detailed at the EMMA web page. The summary is:

1) For the cryopreservation of mouse embryos up to 10 females and 6 males are required of the mouse line to be frozen.

2) For the cryopreservation of sperm up to 6 males are required.

3) About 4 to 6 months are required to cryopreserve heterozygous or hemyzygous transgenic/mutant mouse lines.

4) Up to 12 months are required to cryopreserve homozygous transgenic/mutant mouse lines.
